First passenger train on DFC & luckily I was onboard! Can't comment if it's right to operate passenger trains on DFC but it was hell of an experience, priority was top notch, Covered 740kms in 8H 40M with average of 85kmph on DFC which is crazy 🔥

If it happens in China, it's empowering farmers. But in India, we mock our own people. These trains are lifeline of locals, as long as they don't trouble others, there's nothing wrong. Local trains have dedicated vendor compartments, a similar setup should be provided here too.

People don't realize booking a tatkal ticket is a race, 100 people may compete for 50 seats. You must be faster than rest 50 to secure confirmed tickets. The slower users often blame the system, claiming ticketing systems are sold to dalals #IndianRailways

Shayad main bhi dalal hoon :) Aadhaar authentication ke baad ab Tatkal ticket book karna kaafi easy ho gaya hai, bas thoda fast hona padta hai, par jinse nahi ho pata, woh sabko dalal bol dete hain #IndianRailways

Appreciation post for @RailMinIndia 👏 This festive season, Indian Railways managed ~30 million passengers daily for an entire week with no major overcrowding or stampedes. For such a big system, there will always be something to point out but it's the improvement that matters.

Highly agree ✅ Instead of spending huge sum on RRTS, Indian Railways should focus on multi-tracking and upgrading existing corridors to 160 km/h wherever possible (e.g. Lucknow–Kanpur). We can build 2–3× more infra within the same budget.
NOT EVERY SET OF CITIES REQUIRES RRTS The RRTS system in its current form is too expensive and not optimum at all RRTS costs around ₹ 350-550 crores per km ( Delhi Meerut) Suburban railway costs around ₹ 100-120 crores per km (Bengaluru) @DesiUrbanist @Dixit4Neeraj
