It’s shocking to hear that the Met are now looking at closing public -facing police front counter services across East London. This is why our rep in City Hall @unmeshdesai is fighting hard. As too are @TH_Labour for Bethnal Green police station. This is a vital service for.
The Met are proposing to close public-facing front counter services at Bethnal Green, Barking, and Dagenham Police stations and operate a reduced hours service at Forest Gate Police station. At a special Assembly meeting I raised concerns. 1/2
