I almost cried when I got my certificate tonight because I knew my Grandpa would be so proud of me š. He helped me pick out my picture to submit to HHMI Gilliam too so finding it all blown up was so heartwarming! š
Iām packing today to go to the HHMI Gilliam conference, which has been my dream since starting graduate school. I feel so fortunate that I received this opportunity to help mold me into a better scientist, but it comes with a pang sadness for me.

I had such a powerful experience at BCM SKY Retreat this weekend led by @grahamserwin and met so many amazing people! . It was a thought-provoking and reflective weekend with lessons that I will carry with me! . What a privilege to partake in such a transformative experience! š„°.
