3 years ago, I was about to launch my own game console. I designed it based on the @arduino Zero (@MicrochipTech SAMD21). It had a 4ch 8bit audio engine, 128x128 OLED display, a vibration motor, a pseudo-OS to load games from µSD. First PCB from @oshpark, then PCBA from @MacroFab

I had no previous experience designing electronic device nor programming game(looks at these dialogs 😅), but I learned so many things from this project!

I made my own 2D game engine with fast rendering and screen-capture to micro SD card capability. I had to develop a few tool for host side development (sprite formatter, tilemap generator, audio converter etc)
