Senior Kevin Velazquez (1:59.98) joined teammate Raekwon Hopkins (1:59.36) as only the second Raven to break the sub 2:00 mark in the 800M. They did it in the same race, placing sixth and fourth respectively at the County Championships on Wednesday.

Another Raven, moving on. Distance runner Raekwon Hopkins is taking his talents to Jackson State University in Mississippi. Hopkins, who signed his NLI Friday, enters his senior year holding schools records in the mile (4:27), 800 (1:58) and 5K (15:57).
