I think the main issue with this shit is the size of the canvas. In previous place variants, space was limited, so shit getting griefed was more or less expected and accepted. Now, if something is griefed, it feels like it’s being specifically targeted.

I have to say I don't understand why a socialist should give up on socialism after being convinced by modern economic theory. Perhaps give up LTV / central planning / other Marxist bona fides, but socialism is a set of ethical commitments, not just empirical or theoretical ones.
