Local management is sustainable management. Kudos to @cordioea for this important work.
Together with @WRTIKenya and @UNEP, @cordioea is developing a curriculum to bolster the management of LMMAs. 🌊🪸🎣. Targeting boat operators, hoteliers, community members and others, the manual will guide training on key business areas such as resource mobilization & management.

New bleaching alert tool @AllenCoralAtlas , warned me that in parts of Indonesia, coral/algae areas have observed, increased brightness based on #sentinel2 satellite time series analysis and benthic maps @RSRC_UQ, @UQscience supporting monitoring and management of coral reefs.
