Patrick Mahomes' and Tom Brady's postseasons by year. Mahomes has been one of the best postseason QBs we've ever seen. Brady posting good efficiency while also having by far the largest sample size this century is also very impressive.

Jerry Rice, who laughably ran a 4.71 40, would be a practice squad player in today’s NFL. A prime Rice, my algorithms suggest, would be the 183rd most effective WR today. Rice, enabled by coach & QB talent, was somewhat effective in his day, but today’s WRs are a different breed.

On this Veterans Day, I remember my grandfather, Harrison P. Kent II, and the tremendous sacrifice he made for our beloved nation during World War II. During his time working on the Manhattan Project, my grandfather courageously conducted secret studies on workers at the Los

The Jonathan Taylor MVP stuff is so funny. You're never going to see a clearer example of how much more important QBs are than the 2024 vs 2025 Colts. Largely the same team as last year but upgraded at QB and went from No. 24 to No. 1 in EPA/play!

@AdamSchefter I warned the Titans to draft Jalen Milroe instead of Cameron Ward. Now, they are kicking themselves for not listening to me.

I actually had this same opinion until I looked into it more deeply. Gronk's advanced efficiency metrics -- both peak and career -- are notably better than Kelce's. Had similar career DYAR & EPA despite running 1,906 fewer routes than Kelce. All while being inline (generally bad

Prime Gronk clears. Maybe an unpopular opinion among Chiefs fans but that’s my opinion. Gimme Kelce’s career and longevity though.

This "Lamar statpadded in garbage time unlike Allen, in 2024" narrative is entirely wrong. % of total EPA accumulated in each win probability band --------------------------------------- 4% - 96%: LJ - 88% | JA - 83% 8% - 92%: LJ - 79% | JA - 71% 12% - 88%: LJ - 75% | JA - 64%

As someone who doesn't believe in Caleb Williams, I will lay out my thoughts on the topic, and why you probably shouldn't believe in him (yet) either. ---------------------------------------------------------- First, we need to establish our default assumption -- the starting

Caleb Williams is just not good and he never will be. He will be Fields 2.0: immensely talented out of college, struggles with accuracy and sack avoidance in the NFL, and will have every excuse in the book made for him. I wanted him to be good - very fun player. He. Just. Isnt.

@NFLPinnacleBeat @Nate_Tice Right. I’m pretty low on Caleb. I don’t think he’ll ever be a top 10-12 guy. Hope he proves me wrong though.

https://t.co/d0cgGw3prC The comments on this post are exactly what I’m talking about. The only reason for the huge uproar is because most people are wildly anti-corporation — not because the product will be significantly worse.

RedZone is best served as either A) The main screen for casual, fantasy football viewers B) One of several screens for hardcore fans Either way, a commercial now and then isn’t the biggest deal in the world, especially when the logical alternative is a higher price.

Brady deserved MVP over Rodgers in 2021. Herbert was absolutely in the mix too. Similar efficiency, grading, and cumulative stats despite having the weakest supporting cast of the 3 QBs.

The main point of Redzone, to me, has always been seeing the best plays from games that are happening simultaneously. No ads was like 10% of the value proposition. The other 90% is ‘Scott is going to give me great commentary while spoon-feeding me the best plays from 4 different
