We wanted that dark, moody, modern film noir look. Executing that was up to our amazing DO Matt Lloyd. A true magician!

@pmoreforarmor I get that but can't you just interact with art and not care for the artist. If you see a nice drawing on instagram, do you have to do a whole sentiment analysis on the painter before you post it on your story? Great things that are worth celebrating can come from not great ppl

Can’t believe how many people don’t understand that this is NOT romantic. It’s a fairy tale about the inevitable end of a trauma bond. SUICIDE. Elektra is Tyler Durden! Matt beat the shit out of her; not exactly the “love of his life.” 🙄 Matt is there from trauma/mental illness.

This shot being a callback to Matt’s fight with Nobu in season 1 makes it even more peak. It’s a near perfect recreation even down to him dragging Muse with the blood smearing on the floor. Shows he learned a thing or 2 from him lol.

Then think about what happens in those scenes. Half of them are her being traumatized by him or begging him not to do whatever he’s doing while he LITERALLY yells at her to “stay put.” Twice. For her own story. I really want to watch more of that. 🙄 Karen grew up!

Frank & Karen have 13 total scenes in the original series (not counting when he’s shooting at her) - DDS2, TPS1/S2. That’s over 3 shows. 14 scenes if you count DD:BA. Each ep has roughly 20-25 scenes apiece. They don’t have 1/2 of 1 ep worth of content.
I worded it weird, so I get why people misinterpreted it as me criticizing special, but k*stle fans acting like they won't be first in line to whine how it's a plotless nothingburger film of Frank being just a killing machine (cuz Karen is not there) are hilariously miserable
