Ppl love to make fun of ED docs for ordering what they believe are inappropriate tests, but in reality the cohort of ppl in the ED who overwhelming are the most persistent and demanding of actually inappropriate tests/imaging are physicians who bring in their loved ones.

I will enter the new year completely alone. My multiple life sentences for crimes I didn't commit will never end. My family will never stop paying the consequences of someone's decision to drive impaired. Be safe. #nye2022 #NotOneMore    #ConsequencesMatter

In cancer care, use of alternative medicine is associated with decreased survival. 39% of people in the US believe that alternative medicine such as dieting, herbs, and vitamins can cure cancer without the use of standard cancer treatments. Not good. https://t.co/AihtVQfJ59

Mandatory overtime is a patient safety issue. People make mistakes when they are tired and overworked.

You may have heard the shocking headline that 250,000 people die every year in the US due to misdiagnosis in the ER. You may be even more shocked to know that this statistic is extrapolated from the death of... just one man. in a Canadian ER. over a decade ago.

Hey @nationalpost It is possible to talk about a shortage of medical experts without glorifying a wife murderer. Elana Fric was also a doctor.

She was a doctor! Doctor Aida Rostami, who treated protesters, was murdered by the regime Before being killed, she was tortured. Her left eye was removed and her left hand was broken. This is the true face the monster regime killing children, innocent demonstrators and doctors.

All Alberta hospitals are under stress with onslaught of multiple respiratory viruses in our communities. Children are particularly hard hit and also the specialized hospitals and units that serve them. https://t.co/8Ryxd5lroW

When should you do CTA head and neck in the ED for patients presenting with vertigo? Below is a "vertigo +" approach to help risk-stratify who can be safely discharged to rapid clinic where further neuroimaging with MRI brain can be considered. #neurotwitter #stroke #neurology
