This is good news, and a recognition of the hard work and commitment made by police officers and staff under the strong and experienced leadership of Chief Constable Vaughan. The force cannot afford to be complacent. There's still improvements to be made. Onwards and upwards.
Today HM Chief Inspector of Constabulary, Sir Andy Cooke, has decided to remove @DC_Police from our enhanced level of monitoring, known as Engage, and return the force to Scan, our routine monitoring. 🔽 Read more:.

We celebrated the official opening of Ivybridge's police station to the public yesterday. It was great to be joined by members of the community who are excited to have this resource. We also met the fantastic police enquiry officers manning the front desk to offer support.
