EUD met with the new Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness & Crisis Management, @hadjalahbib, at the European Parliament. We look forward to continuing strong collaboration to build an inclusive Europe in national sign languages!

The EUD Policy team are in the @Europarl_EN prepared for the @EP_Petitions committee in which Policy Manager @Alexblxs1 will make an intervention about the progress on our petition on the possibility for deaf EU citizens to table petitions in national sign languages!

Thank you @crismaestre for your tireless support. It is a surprising position from @PPEuropean not to support the fundamental rights of deaf people. I wonder what is the rationale behind their decision. .
It is incomprehensible that @PPEuropean refuses to support the amendment. A request from the @EUD_Brussels and @alexblxs1 that is fair, feasible and economical. It is discriminatory and degrading. Thank you @isabeldemuel, we keep working!!.
