Thank you to everyone who advocated for reduced school zone speed limits to help keep our ACPS kids and staff safe!.
The City of Alexandria will implement new speed limits on select corridors on the West End this fall. Speed limits will be reduced from 35 to 25 mph on two corridors. Several school zone speed limits will be reduced from 25 to 15 mph. For more info, visit

FREE PTAC Visual Arts Workshop. Oct 12, 2022 @FerdinandTDayES FTDay Elementary School from 5-6pm. We provide the supplies! Children from ALL schools are welcome to attend. The PTA at Ferdinand T. Day will also host an ice cream social before their PTA meeting at 6pm.
