This little combo was crucial in getting me through higher surgical training: just the little boost you need…and it still does the job every time, if I can find them in the hospital shop that is!!

I have at last completed my PhD!!! .Couldn’t have done this without Claire and Jack to keep me going, my absolutely fantastic supervisor Mark Williams (he is a huge credit to the university), our family, all of my colleagues and friends in the NHS, PDR, Renishaw and KLS Martin.

For all early years trainees, as Niall says, get your leave in for a fantastic hands on SORG course in facial trauma, Bristol, 18 & 19 May: great location, great faculty, great opportunity. 👍.

Really looking forwards to teaching on the SORG basic principles in Maxillofacial Trauma course on 18-19th May; a really valuable course for early and middle-years trainees, focussing on key principles as well as some more novel and “thinking outside the box” approaches!

Another really constructive meeting with a strong contribution from every single person. Proud to be part of this team.

After a fab JTG conference, just a takeaway message: BAOMS will support you. We must work within GMC boundaries but we aim to ease the hurdles including core equivalent jobs, the new JT support network and study support for MRCS. So…keep in touch and for updates on JTSN 👋
