I am very thrilled to share that I have been awarded an #ERCStG. In this project, we will establish a direct sensorimotor connection with the spared neural code of movement to regain motor function. We will develop novel sensing and feedback methods with cellular resolution.

We found that despite functional paralysis, numerous motor units continue to exhibit activity akin to those in healthy muscles. This suggests a significant degree of preserved synaptic input, highlighting potential pathways for neuromuscular recovery.

The only way to achieve AGI is to let AI derive its own ground truth data. This can only be accomplished through sensorimotor loops, e.g., robots equipped with numerous sensors, motors, and advanced AI. LLMs are fantastic but still very far from AGI.
