Lots of very strange and extreme responses here to my previous tweets. I do notice this (anonymous) fringe group within the Lib Dems is trying to encourage harassment of fellow party members online, it's quite sad really. Recommend they have some breaks off Twitter/X 😅

I do think that these fringe groups distract from the big issues we get on the doorstep about the cost of living in Britain It is scary when the world changes quickly. It's harder for people to empathise and find common ground these days. I hope Sarah has a nice day, genuinely
I don’t think sex-realist women in the @LibDems are in fact ‘a fringe group in the party’. I’m sure the vast majority of our members, let alone our voters, support the SC confirmation that ‘woman’ in the EA means biological woman. /1

Been a difficult period, but I said my final goodbye to dad yesterday. It was nice to see so many people come to the service in Southend. Lots of people I'd never met before came over to talk about what a good man he was, and how he helped them in some way. Gonna miss him a lot❤️

Tend not to comment on this, as I rarely feel I have much to add. Having seen some of the harrowing images from the hospital bombing, it is difficult not to conclude that we are making a moral failure by selling arms to a govt bombing civilians. Language from govt is toothless

Statements like these are designed to be innocuous, to be framed to draw reasonable people in- the ever threatening tide of "woke". Note that they spend less time proposing meaningful solutions on economy, NHS, that hurt the people who sent them to Parliament more than a flag....
