It’s been a gruelling couple of weeks for everyone who works in the sector or campaigns to end male violence against women, so it’s encouraging and a huge relief to see the @MayorofLondon finally recognise that PREVENTING the violence must be the priority, not just MANAGING it.
Making misogyny a hate crime is one of the many changes that need to take place. We need to focus on preventing women and girls from becoming victims of male violence in the first place rather than only concentrating on the response. https://t.co/tAzrRL62hi
