Kudos to Irene for speaking up. I hope the survivors get the support they need. If you are a PhD student in computing who has witnessed or experienced sexual harassment at UW (or anywhere else), let me know & I'll support you. I also know others who will - you aren't alone.
The University of Washington CS school is an unsafe environment for women, so as grad application season starts, please tell your students not to apply. There are at least 3 men in the systems lab that have sexually harassed numerous women and they continue to do so.

The workshop provides a unique forum for research on designing systems & architectures in a socially responsible way. The topics span across the system stack, with a focus on social concerns from system design choices, or resolving societal issues via careful system design.
