Whether it is US sanctioning India for dealing with Russia (when they themselves do), or China urging India to not deal with Taiwan (when they themselves do)- it is not hypocrisy, but (the expectation of) hierarchy . Only building own hard power will change that expectation.
#BREAKING: During the India-China Foreign Minister’s meeting yesterday in New Delhi, when Wang Yi urged not to deal with Taiwan, India’s External Affairs Minister Jaishankar argued that “China itself was dealing on the same areas that we in India were. So how is that possible?”.
