The irony of it all is that stress affects blood sugars. My pharmacist is an absolute legend and does his absolute best to get my medication for me. However between this and shortages of Ozempic makes managing my invisible disability rather stressful. #diabetes.

I’m Type 1 Diabetic 34 years. My insulin delivered through a pump 24/7 quite literally keeps me alive. I have enough stock for now but this supply shortage is frightening to be quite honest. 1/2.
Novo Nordisk Limited, Ireland advises of a stock shortage of the NovoRapid® (insulin aspart) 100 units/ml solution for injection in vial, which is used to reduce high blood sugar levels in patients with diabetes mellitus. Return to stock level is expected in early August 2023.

Kate is one of the nicest hardest working people you could meet. It takes real courage to share an awful incident like this. One of I’m sure hundreds more. It’s just not good enough that people can’t go out in public without being harassed.

My poor mum has been buying bottled water for the guts of a month in Tullamore. No word from @IrishWater on when the issue will be resolved. It’s costing a small fortune & is far from eco-friendly. Surely we should be past this in 2023?.

Listening to @morningireland ‘s piece on phone free gigs. I’m curious how other diabetics feel about it? I use my phone to keep an eye on my blood sugars. I don’t do it for fun but to ensure I stay well. I can’t say I like the idea of being prevented from doing this. 🤔.
