Higher levels of parental hypomanic traits in the postnatal period displayed a fully mediated pathway of risk transmission to infants' socio-emotional development via their negative association with parental reflective functioning (4/4).

Incredible to see the literature review I did during my Scottish Government internship on perinatal mental health stigma being put to great use. Grateful to have contributed to this vital cause!.
Stigma can take lots of different forms for new and expectant parents – from judgement to dismissal, to self-stigma stemming from the idea of the ‘perfect parent’. Our new guidelines aim to help parents and their families get the support they need. ➡
