If you care about #harvest2020 yield data quality, look at the picture below. Yield monitors perform consistently when corn moisture is below ~20%. If you are above 20% you need to calibrate every 2.5% change in moisture to keep your yield error under 5%. #ISUCrops

Costco will control the production process from farm to store, making key decisions down to the grain chickens eat and the type of eggs hatched. Costco has even put its socially-conscious corporate reputation on the line. Via @CNNBusiness

After harvest, consider a burndown herbicide like 2,4-D, dicamba or Elevore® herbicide. Kevin Kowalski, Pioneer field agronomist, encourages growers to tackle weeds in the fall or early spring in this #PioneerAgronomyMinute. https://t.co/CGHqlnFXeC

Don't be fooled - sometimes black spots aren't TAR SPOT - during this time of year common and southern rust (pictured) fungi can produce black teliospores. Tar spot hasn't been reported in Nebraska (yet?) but is still creeping toward us halfway across Iowa https://t.co/cEBDL4HLvE

Wet conditions pushed limits on many POST corn herbicide apps this year. Here is result of pushing the glyphosate growth stage limit. Translucent kernels will be partially filled in by neighboring kernels. Here’s why it happens https://t.co/BW869OUwRA

The #soybean flowering fallacy exists as early planted soybean experience shorter days before June 21st, so floral induction and the subsequent appearance of flowers may occur ahead of the summer solstice. More info on this phenomenon can be found here:
