This project in #Nigeria has revealed the potential of indigenous #tree species in reducing climate-induced hardships. These species have often been overlooked, but they can play a vital role in local development & promoting a green recovery. 🔗 https://t.co/nOf295G5ky
Native or introduced trees, which should you plant? Both matter, but the choice depends on location, goals, and ecosystem services. Using quality seeds, smart planning & decision-support tools makes every planting count. Read: 🔗 https://t.co/hnN4p4vZ1o

Here is a map of archaeological sites in the Sahara that date to between 9,000 and 3,000 years ago, but only the ones with cattle remains. So it is just a limited map. Seems like archaeologists have a LOT of curiosity about this area.
The Sahara Desert, green and fertile for 5,000 years following the end of the Ice Age ( https://t.co/Z6klcYoqUU), is more than twice the size of the Indian subcontinent but has only been the subject of minimal archaeological investigation. Implications in the attached info-image.
