Every athlete being a free agent several times a year creates challenges for universities (and fans!), but the detriment to student athletes if limited to a one-time transfer will be greater. There are many reasons someone may look to transfer….its not always💰💰💰.
The SCORE ACT would establish a one-time transfer rule. Would roll back the power athletes currently have to transfer multiple times. An NCAA committee is also currently working on a new football calendar with a one-time-only annual window.

Late in the portal game here and starting to see many young men take on the portal solo rather than hiring a proven agent to negotiate on their behalf. Some thoughts on self-representation:. Pros ✅. - Direct communication with teams. - No agency fee. Some agencies are charging.
