Sometimes a collective or community like ours is better than going it alone so you are able to share audiences.
Actually, most people should NOT start a blog 99% of new blogs get zero meaningful traffic and die within the first few months If you appreciate how difficult it is to keep a blog going for a long time, perhaps you will be kinder and more supportive of those who somehow do ~B
