We have a few wheat fields with extremely high aphid numbers on the ears. Is anyone aware of any none insecticide products that might convince them to move on?

Hmm, near inch wide cracks on heavy wheat land. Wheat on sand and gravel really going to start struggling next week as well once it comes warmer again. 😞

Trying to get hold of some spray can lid openers. Any ideas? Funnily enough, there weren't any on offer at Groundswell yesterday that I could see. Aside from that point, Groundswell was excellent, well done to all involved in organising it.

Picture doesn't show it enough really, but of 9 beds of onion trials, the only row not lost to bean seed fly damage had force seed treatment on. The rest without were eaten through April by the maggots.
