In 1912, a Catholic priest on the Titanic was offered a seat in a lifeboat. He refused. A crew member pleaded with him to escape, but he refused again. Fr. Thomas Byles spent his last hours hearing confessions and praying with the dying. He was 42.

But looking at his timeline, and his desperate attempts to cause me professional issues, if I were to suddenly find myself under his ‘care’, I am not sure I would have the same confidence in his professionalism. And that’s an honest opinion I’m entitled to express.

However, notwithstanding Niz’s desire to cause me professional issues for having the temerity to be correct, if I was lucky enough to have him as my client, I’d abide my professional obligations and do my dammdest for him - and to get him acquitted.

Seems @ryanair is not alone: BA apologises after staff member wore Palestine flag badge

A passenger boarding a flight from Gatwick in August spotted the lapel pin in the shape of a black power fist

Turns out Niz’s idea of reporting me to my regulator and hoping @ryanair would sue me might not be the winner he thinks it was given @ryanair have apologised, said it “does not condone” the conduct of its staff member, and refunded me.
@Ryanair @barstandards Under persistent interogaton on his post, Adrian later (seemingly begrudgingly) described the badge. It turns out the badge worn by @Ryanair staff member was neither neither: 1. PRO HAMAS 2. RELATED TO INTIFADA This falsifies both claims made by @AdrianYalland. Not only

I used to feel dirty and guilty blocking people, as if somehow I had an obligation to tolerate being abused. I mean, free speech and all that. Not any more.

Good. We know that these drugs are actually a form of conversion therapy on gay kids told they were born the wrong sex. As I have said many times: NO CHILD IS BORN IN THE WRONG BODY❗️ Under my leadership, Conservatives will do everything to protect childhood. Let’s focus on

Shalom friends, Many Christians love to use Corrie ten Boom as the ultimate example of forgiving the enemy. And yes - her forgiveness was powerful. But let me remind you of something. The most Christian thing Corrie did was not forgiving a Nazi guard after the war - the most

And for clarity the badge was about 2-3 inches pinned to his collar, a raised fist painted in the Palestinian flag. Which if you know history symbolises support for the intifada, which was a key Hamas policy to overthrow the Israeli state and to kill Jews. So not a Watermelon.

If those who wear badges and insult customers over Gaza were also up in arms about Christian’s being murdered in Nigeria, the Rohingya in Myanmar, the Uyghurs in China, or any other global issue, they would have credibility. But they don’t. It’s just about Israel. Why?

Do I think Israel is perfect? No. Made mistakes? Yes. Deserves criticism? Yes. But no other state on earth is subject to the misinformation that Israel is - and it lives in a damned if you do, damned if you don’t paradigm.

Israel is not perfect. But it is the only democracy in the Middle East. It is the only state where gay rights are civil liberties respected and where Jews are safe - every other Middle Eastern state has been ethnically cleansed of Jews. Why?

I do not like what is happening in Gaza, and Israel has made mistakes. But it did not ask for this conflict: Hamas knew what would happen when it did what it did, and it knew its own people would suffer. Also knew useful idiots in the west would fall for it. Like this ma today.
