The closer we get to football season starting the more athletes need to understand what they are going up against. Your speed is being measured on film. Teams have tech that can track your top speed from your film. The days of getting recruited without verifying your metrics are.

You know the more we look into the data @thenextupai, the more we find that recruiting does not have a talent problem. it has a distribution problem. The current system is truncated and only gives athletes one or two months a year to become "verified" by a school.

My company @thenextupai just completed a very interesting study on the recruiting landscape. We found that athletes with at least 2 verified metrics were 3x more likely to get recruited, and athletes that got 5+ verified metrics were 9x more likely to get recruited.

It will be really interesting to see how the Rev Share era plays out and if it / the NCAA survives. I am curious to see what future litigation will look like. Either way I am happy that the Golden Bears made the full court press to take advantage of the pre rev share era rules!!.

Major shifts are coming to the recruiting / personnel landscape, with a push towards scalable tech. Teamworks raised at a $1B valuation, On3 strengthened their foothold with the Rivals acquisition. The traditional recruiting approach is going to fade.
