Brock Purdy must be AI because Silicon Valley investors sunk hundreds of millions of dollars into him and now they’re really insistent that he’s really good and useful and the rest of us are like uhhhhhhh idk it kinda feels like he messes up all the time

I think this is a problem born of scalping becoming legal. The ticket broker sites arrived, and showed teams how much they could actually charge for tickets—so the face value in most places exploded. When I was a kid, you could sit in the bleachers at Fenway for like $6.
Parents not being able to afford to take their kids to games anymore is probably a bigger factor. There are way less kids at Lambeau now than even 20 years ago. There are still a lot of kids at Wrigley because a lot of Cubs fans have money but there aren’t a ton of fan bases like

Five times this season, the Steelers have gotten the ball first coming out of the locker room after halftime. The results: 4 punts and an INT. That helps explain why they've blown halftime leads in 3 of their 5 losses. https://t.co/CE9bThVHgo

5 things we learned from Bears 31, Steelers 28: 1. Third is not the charm The next time the Steelers win the coin toss, they would be wise to take the ball and not defer until the third quarter....

Being a Steelers fan the last decade has been nothing short of a bottom tier sport fan experience. They do just enough to keep you engaged and come up short when they have to do anything meaningful. Even the biggest homers are starting not to care anymore because they know how it

Spot on by @TommyJaggi. Yes the front office viewed GP as a liability when it came to outside his play (whether fans agree with that or not, it’s the truth). But, the Steelers coaching staff didn’t give him the true chance to flourish in the league. The Cowboys are not doing

My issues with Frank’s tenure: - Constant emphasis on duels and set-pieces, minimal emphasis on control. Means that he turns every game into 50/50. - Pairing Djed Spence at LB with LWers who want to play infield. If Spence is LB you must have Odobert LW who can keep width. -

Someone finally wrote about the absolute moral rot in journalism at the moment. Please pay attention to what Karen Ho — and other WOC in journalism— are saying https://t.co/gHPys4ZYAF

I think the most worrying thing for Spurs fans from the NLD should be that the football that Spurs set up to play in the first half was distinctly outdated. I dont think there are any elite coaches who think that approach would work, especially not against this Arsenal side.

I’m not even entertaining the argument that our squad isn’t at WORST 6th best in the league We have some brilliant players who are being made to look absolutely shit

Along with Burnley, Brentford and Everton, Tottenham went into this weekend as one of four clubs yet to give a single minute of Premier League action to a home-grown product this this season.

#Tottenham’s xG vs Chelsea earlier this month was their lowest on record in a Premier League match. It only took 22 days for Spurs to set a new record low xG output (today vs Arsenal) [@xGPhilosophy]

It’s almost as if our players are able to play through the lines if they are allowed to? Funny that it takes us going 3-0 down to do that Even the leagues worst midfielders can break lines every now and then

I tell you what, I’m fucking sick of this set piece nonsense You can be good at set pieces without it becoming your whole game plan What is Frank’s game model? What style is he trying to create at Spurs? Right now the only pattern I can think of is Porro chipping the ball

“To not take a risk is also a risk” That’s what Frank said when he joined But he’s terrified of every side he plays against

I predicted that this would be unwatchable stop-start football - it was very obvious - but even then this is beyond what I expected.

We can look at this performance in isolation But let’s be honest, Franks showing has been terrible all season Haven’t put up more than 1 proper performance in the league this season Constantly reactive never proactive

Feels like Chelsea at home all over again… any time we get the ball we just give it away straight away and and invite more pressure

By all means play a low-block v Arsenal but to just allow unpressured passes from that space is suicide against any team in the top five leagues.
