Community Notification: Missing at-risk Adult CSPD is seeking assistance in locating 78-year-old Maryellen Conaway. Maryellen was last seen around 3:30 PM on Monday, May 12, 2025, at her home in the 6500 block of Charter Drive, near Dublin Boulevard and North Union Boulevard.

#ColoradoSpringsFire is on scene of a fire at a homeless encampment near I-25 and Bijou. Engine 3, Engine 13, and Brush 24 are on scene reporting about a 20ft by 20ft area on fire, they’re working to extinguish it now. Smoke is visible from the interstate.

All mandatory evacuations have been reduced to voluntary evacuations with the exception of Blamey Road south of 94 - Hammer Ranch Road, and Francis Coalmine Road. 94 is still closed from Marksheffel to Blamey Rd. Fire is currently 30% contained. Approximately 3,000 acres total.

UPDATE: Officers involved are unharmed, Violent Crimes unit responding to scene. All parties are accounted for. No estimated time for media briefing.
