4/ The Academy combines: • Hands-on workshops • Digital learning modules • Certification programs • Structured judicial boot camps • Collaborations with universities & policy institutions Our aim: bridge the gap between innovation and implementation in justice systems.

3/ The Adalat AI Academy operationalizes this second engine: a dedicated platform to train judicial officers & court staff in the responsible and ethical use of AI. Courts need more than access to tech; they need confidence, capability, and support to deploy it meaningfully.

5/ This week, our co-founders @utkarsh__saxena and @orgho12 were in Zambia, meeting with the Chief Justice, senior judges, ministers, lawyers, and government officials — holding workshops and co-designing solutions tailored to Zambia’s justice system.

4/ Our approach: Build locally. Adapt globally. 🌍 Grounded in local realities, but connected by common roots. That’s how we’re designing AI for courts — by courts across the Global South, for courts across the Global South.

3/ Having worked in India, Kenya, Ghana, and now Zambia, we’ve seen how strikingly similar these systems are — in structure, procedure, and even language. This shared history makes it both possible and necessary to build solutions that travel.

2/ Across much of the Global South, our justice systems are still shaped by colonial-era frameworks — systems never built for our people or contexts. They remain paper-heavy, clerical, and painfully slow. The process has become the punishment.
