Congratulations to @YsgolBrynTeg1 on being the 1st school in Llanelli to achieve the silver Active Travel School Award. They work hard to encourage pupils to walk, wheel & cycle to school daily. The shed had 34 bikes & scooters in it. Their pool bikes give all a chance to learn.

Lots of fun was had by pupils and parents @Active_Journeys school @townhillps, on a range of adult scooters. Scooting is a great way for parents to keep up with their kids on the school run, or to park their car away from the school & scoot the rest in a more healthy & fun way!

Yesterday four pupils from Year 4 @Active_Journeys school @Pontybrenin learned how to ride a bike for the first time and others brushed up on their skills. Big thanks to @SwanseaCouncil @Sport_CCS for lending their bikes. This enabled pupils without bikes to be included.

Great day of bike maintenance at Ysgol Gynradd Drefach. Older pupils worked in pairs on their bikes then helped younger pupils with theirs. Some really young pupils had a go at pumping tyres, oiling, working out how to use an adjustable spanner or just ticking the checklist!
