Honored to meet Robert Redford at 2009 Dukr University Honor Ceremony. I tried to explain the need for more inclusiveness in conservation. He was delighted and said: “ Oh! #environmentaljustice! Like @majoracarter! “ EJ is often response to poison. Conservation is green

Thanks to Julie Snyder and Jonathan White for welcoming us to the beautiful @ForestLawnCem. This historic cemetery pre-dates Olmsted and Vaux but influenced their park and parkway designs for the city.

Happy Halloween from Buffalo! 💀👻🎃 Our first morning in Buffalo was special exploring @RichardsonCtr. Nell Gardner shared Olmsted’s South Lawn. President Paris Roselli led us through the female building— the “before”— and the reused Richardson Olmsted Hotel— the “after.”

I’m at the Olmsted pop up event in Buffalo. I’m so having a book reading or event here. This hotel is gorgeous, grounds and inside. And I love how you can tell that it was an asylum. @bfloparks
