Fossil fuel companies are feeling the heat. The ruling also highlights the need for strong outcomes at #COP29 in Baku. We cannot wait for polluters to take climate action; we need strong international agreements, and rich countries need to step up.

But the fight is far from over. The court did confirm that companies like Shell have a responsibility to prevent climate change which is hopeful and important. This case has already shifted how we think about polluters like Shell and has inspired cases all over the world.

This project is so important. Ni-Vanuatu women need electricity for cooking, to charge digital devices, and for lighting. But up to 90% of people in rural areas of Vanuatu have no access to the electricity grid. Thanks for your support @AusHCVanuatu, @dfat & @PowerWellsOrg! 👏
