It better not be a Shadow & Randall team up, Randall's literally such a nothing character.
The untitled Sonic movie is referred as an “Event” like #Knuckles which could hinted that the movie will be a Shadow movie. Maybe, we could see Shadow teaming up with Randall like Knuckles and Wade?

up to issue 50 and Surge and Kit. If this is her approach then that's fine but issues 81 and 82 don't really inspire confidence for the self contained stories, especially when 33-50 were probably the blandest stretch of the comic. I don't know the extent of her limitations

Ngl this is a shame. One of the biggest appeals of IDW (and Archie) was the overarching storylines, yet now we’re back to the Sonic X season 1 style of storytelling where everything feels disconnected aside from having the same cast of characters
So SEGA is the reason why IDW Sonic has such rushed arcs to make them "easier to repackage"... why am I not surprised. As much as I have disliked how rushed almost every arc has been after Metal Virus, I do feel bad for Evan, Ian & the other writers to be honest.

I mean genuinely following literally everything other than Sonic IDW puts out is all you really need to tell you that the issues are entirely Sega. Look up what TMNT has going for it or Godzilla. That just got an entire brand new universe made for it.

If it's a Shadow film, I hope it has Rouge at the very least. The Chaotix would be great too (like that upcoming fan film), but they'll probably be saved for a Knuckles season 2 or something.
