The only thing that really took a dip in Horizons is it’s animation quality, writing wise the show is doing fine. Most of the complaints I’ve seen don’t actually have any merit to them, like the majority of the complaints about Roy.
Now that everyone knows about the tragic Horizons writing falloff of 2025, I would LOVE to direct your attention to the REAL best written Pokémon series:

Feel earned and is presented in a manor that feel realistic for the character. Dark Sonic kinda flies in the face of Unleashed but it’s honestly better he be influenced by the fake emeralds than actually fly into a rage all on his own. And Sonic shedding a tear is better than
Imo sonic can and should let emotions out, the key is just that it needs to feel earned. The best part of an emotionally stable character is that in the rare moments he does let it out it feels cathartic. Id love to see it happen someday for a character other than chris lol

There are plenty of reasons to think Horizons will end but a voice actor getting other roles isn’t one of them.

Not only did Mephiles tell Silver how he could fix things, but he also proved his claim somewhat by showing he LITERALLY had time travel powers. People who act like his choice to trust Mephiles just because he looks sus aren’t looking at things from his perspective.
“06 Silver is an idiot” Lemme get this straight, if I lived in an apocalyptic world that was covered in ruins, fire and molten lava my whole life and some dude said he could fix it if I helped him. Is it so wrong to get desperate and help him cus I want a better life than this?
