Our member Jo has been subject to years of damp and mould in her Islington and Shoreditch Housing Association flat. On Friday Acorn members, with comrades from @IslingtonH4All, marched on ISHA’s office to demand these issues be solved and show them that Jo can’t be ignored ✊

Haringey Council has failed to respond to our FOI request about the number of households referred to bailiffs last year, within the legal time limit of 20 working days. What is @haringeycouncil hiding? Do they not think residents have the right to know what they're up to?

ACORN members were in Parliament today alongside our partners in the @RentersReformCo to celebrate the passing of the Renters’ Rights Act. We’ll keep fighting for more, but this is a victory for the organised tenants movement💪
🚨 The Renters’ Rights Bill has now received Royal Assent. From ACORN's very first meeting in Bristol over a decade ago, we identified ending unfair evictions as a key demand for our campaigning and a key wrong to right for our class.
