I was honored to know this lady and to call her friend. She knew that I would drop everything to get things done for her. It wrecks me to know that I will never see her again. For now, I am taking care of her farm animals and cats till arrangements are made.

She might’ve been 94, but she always had the energy of someone younger. It was only 2 years ago that she admitted needing assistance. Sadly, she got an internal infection overwhelmed her which was why I took her to the urgent care.

This woman was one of the first women in the Air Force. She had several PHDs including psychology. She always had a story to share whenever I asked about her long life. She loved my animal rescue adventures since she loved animals.
