We are excited to share that ATI Hollywood Beach is moving to a newly renovated space for the 23/24 school year! We are one of the first Montessori schools in Florida to provide a complete Montessori learning program from 16 months to 18 years.

Montessori envisioned that middle schools students would board at a sort of farm school. People hear this and envision teens gardening. I think what she had in mind is closer to teens tractor tilling.

Not coincidentally, the ultimate goal of the adolescent coaching program I’m helping develop for @AcademyIndustry is to “make itself obsolete” by empowering teens to be their own coaches henceforth.
The paradox of parenting is total custodianship over a being that needs to develop total self-custodianship. Children need to learn how to do all the things you do for them, including thinking about why one ought or ought not do those things.
