Guys, I’m building @useeppcheck, a peer-to-peer verification platform. It connects people who need checks: houses, cars, addresses, or even custom requests with trusted locals nearby. If you’d like to request or earn by doing checks, check out

Two big killers of creativity are fear and shame. Fear 😰: what if people don't like it? Shame 😖: This might be too much/small and may change people's perception of me as a professional. Cut them both off and get bolder.

Quiet confidence isn’t about having it all figured out. It’s about showing up, even when you’re still finding your voice. To anyone who’s ever felt like they had to be louder to be respected: You don’t. You never did. Remember that your calm is a strength

5. I stopped over-explaining just to be understood. There was a time I would add disclaimers before sharing anything. “Maybe this is just me…” “I’m not sure if this makes sense, but…” “Feel free to ignore this…” I thought softening my words would make them easier to hear,

4. I shared ideas even when I felt unsure. There were so many times I held back an opinion because I wasn’t completely confident. But the more I practiced saying, “I think this could work because…” the more clarity and courage I gained each time.

3. I began owning the strengths that aren’t always loud. I used to think being calm or observant were just personality traits. But I noticed how my calm steadied the room during chaos, how people turned to me when things got overwhelming. I saw how my quiet nature helped me spot

2. I gave myself permission to take up space In meetings, I used to wait until everyone else had spoken, afraid I would interrupt or say the wrong thing. Now, I speak up early. Not to be the loudest, but to remind myself I belong in the room.

1. I started choosing honesty over people-pleasing. There was a time I said “yes” to everything just to avoid conflict, even when it didn’t serve me. Now, I’ve learned to say, “I don’t have capacity for that right now,” without guilt. And that’s a kind of confidence too.

I’m naturally a reserved person, and for a long time, that really affected my self-confidence. ⠀ I used to think I had to be louder, more outspoken, more visible to be taken seriously. ⠀ But over time, I’ve learnt that quiet confidence is still confidence, and it’s more

A design client once told me, “this just doesn’t feel right.” The visuals were clean and the layout was solid, but something was off. That moment changed how I approach design. Now I always ask, “How do you want it to feel?” I share more overlooked but powerful questions in

For the creative introvert who has ever felt like they had to show up differently to be taken seriously. This is your reminder: you don’t need to be louder or more “out there” to make an impact. Your way of showing up is valid and your presence speaks even when it’s not the

Rushing into a design without asking the right questions is a big mistake. It almost always leads to confusion, back-and-forths, and wasted time. In my new video, I’m sharing the 5 questions I ask before I ever start designing, they’ve saved me (and my clients) hours.

Good design gets you in the room, but it’s the non-design skills that help you stay there. ⠀ Just dropped a video on the underrated skills that actually level up your design career. Watch here:

Looking back, my strongest work and collaborations weren’t just about good design, they were the result of good communication.

- Explain the “why”, don’t just show the design. - Use everyday words, not fancy terms. - Ask better questions before designing. - Present your work when you can. - Stay curious when receiving feedback.

If people don’t understand why you made something, they won’t connect with it. ⠀ Here are a few things I’ve learnt the hard way 👇🏽

When I started designing, I thought it was all about visuals. Colours, typography, layout etc. ⠀ But over time, I’ve learnt that design is only half the job, communication is the other half. 🧵
