Brilliant news yesterday that @AbertayUni has been named the top International School for video games education by the Princeton Review 👏 Our courses are now ranked 8th in the world for undergraduate programmes and 7th at postgraduate level.

We had very useful discussions on our work to support the health, wellbeing and economic growth of local community in Dundee and the opportunities and challenges for internationalisation as we expand our routes to an Abertay degree.

Fantastic to welcome so many colleagues from across Europe to Dundee for this important conference focused on widening access. Widening access is a top priority for Abertay, as it is for every Scottish institution, and this conference will help us build on our strong progress.

Very pleased to host a productive @uni_scot roundtable at @AbertayUni with colleagues from across Scottish universities and Minister for HE @GraemeDeyMSP. Good discussion on careers education, working with industry on curriculum design and making work-based education a priority.

Another fantastic achievement and the culmination of a great deal of hard work by colleagues. We're proud to offer an excellent student experience at Abertay and continuously work to update, enhance and improve our approach to make sure we are offering the best possible quality.

His vision to gain university status and to revise our programme portfolio at a time of huge technological change was a vital step for the institution and has had great benefit for Dundee and the Scottish HE sector. Our thoughts are with his loved ones and all who knew him.
