1/3 A paper recently published on physician lead prehospital critical care teams has recently lead to some heated discussions in various spheres. Further discussion has resulted in a white paper being authored by the prehospital and retrieval medicine society of New Zealand

First Union members continue with withdrawl of labour for the first time in AoNZ Paramedic history. The funding system is broken and I encourage you all (AoNZ based) to consider signing this petition. Why is a national service still a charity... https://t.co/KtqTDw0TW8

In the space of 12 hours I’ve met a kid, 4.5 yrs after I helped deliver and resuscitate them at their birth And shook the hand of a man that was clinically dead for 20 min the day before This job has its moments and today was one of them. It’s a privilege. #ParamedicLife

Back into research for my MPrac (Paramedicine) This time looking at NOF mortality rates / morbidity for rural vs urban and whether as a sector, we should be transporting direct to orthopaedic centres. Delays at peripheral centres are significant! #PrehospitalResearch #PhDNext
