I’ve paid for a BBC license for 8 years now, but I have cancelled the DD for next year. I will not be forced to pay for a state broadcaster that goes out of its way to demonise socially Conservative people on a daily basis. You only need it for live TV (apparently) and iplayer.

This is the main aspect that sets Rupert Lowe apart from Reform and its leadership. Tice famously said when asked about demographic change that he’d be “long gone by then”. He and they only care about the here and now which is no way to govern.
