We recently hosted a PowerPoint Karaoke event in Hobart @ResearchMenzies and had over 50 attendees. Our 9 keynote speakers did a great job at handling some difficult topics including mice driving cars and levitating frogs Thanks to @Jake_Cashion_ and @Tomlewis2310 for organising!

PhD students and recent graduates (3 years post-PhD), don't forget to apply for the Mark Rowe Award if you have published a first or last author paper in 2022!.
Many of our members have been away at overseas meetings lately- making up for lost time over the past few years, no doubt! . So, we've extended the deadline for the prestigious ANS awards to the 14th August!. Awards include: Best paper, best contribution to field (ECR + beyond)👇.

We love sharing cool neuroscience from our fellow students 🧠 . Here is an image from one of our committee members @Jake_Cashion_ who has labelled astrocytes (magenta) and blood vessels (green) in the mouse brain. Together, these cells help to maintain cerebral blood flow.
