Sunny-Side Up by Jacky Davis is a celebration of family, love, and imagination. This cute story helps us all learn to look on the bright side when faced with obstacles - or just a rainy day. #BookOfTheWeek #LiteracyMatters #YoungReaders

Our team had loads of fun helping to sort and box 25,000 books that will go home with every SCS PK-2 student for summer break! We’re so grateful to our community partner, Literacy Mid-South, for purchasing these books for students and letting us help out! #MemphisLiteracy

In More Than Fluff, our #BookOfTheWeek by Madeline Valentine, fluffy Daisy tries to figure out how to set boundaries without hurting others’ feelings. We like this fresh, funny take on respecting other people’s autonomy. #LiteracyMatters

Teamwork is the name of our game! Our programs team spent hours sorting our decodable readers, extension materials, and other curricular materials for easy distribution to our partner schools in the upcoming school year. We love working hard to support our partner schools!

Someone Has to Build the Dream is a lovely salute to all of the people whose hard work goes into building our world. From bridges to books, someone has to actually work the saws and pound the nails, and this book celebrates them all. #BookOfTheWeek #LiteracyMatters

We believe that conversations around race are complex but necessary and vital in Tennessee schools. That’s why we proudly signed The Education Trust- Tennessee’s letter opposing HB0580. Though the bill has been passed and signed, this fight isn’t over! https://t.co/Kvcu36ftov]

We love school, but Miami Jackson can hardly wait for summer to begin in our #BookOfTheWeek, Miami Gets It Straight. Hey, if our favorite teacher was leaving and our frenemy was on our case, we’d be ready for school to end, too! #YoungReaders #SummerReading
