I'm going to love when the VFX breakdowns drop later in the year for the Oscars! Yes they flew the planes, yes some of it was practical but let's not forget the 400+ (and counting), VFX artists, on IMDB. A lot of those BGs, mountains & planes are full CG!

You can argue that it isn’t “good” cinematography if you want. But it is classified as cinematography. You can’t just decide that word means what you want it to mean

@sapphire_wiccan @DiscussingFilm Well it's not exactly cinematography is it. They didn't build a set, or shoot in location, light it in the correct colours and requirements, with all the correct angle and depth etc. It's just a green screen.
