(3/4) .5. Political and Governance challenges as some countries prioritize economic development or short-term goals over long-term adaptation planning. 6. Insufficient and unpredictable financing despite commitments from developed nations, adaptation finance remains inadequate.

(2/4) .3. Uncertainty of climate impacts which makes it hard to plan effective, long-term adaptation strategies. 4. Ensuring equitable support for vulnerable communities, especially in the Global South, is politically and logistically complex.

(1/4) Key Challenges Facing the implementation of GGA . 1. Lack of Clear and Measurable Indicators. 2.Many developing countries lack the data, tools, and institutional capacity to assess climate risks and plan effective adaptation.

It was great experience to attend the workshop on Global Goal on Adaptation (#GGA). To finalize a handful list around 100 indicators of adaptation out of 490 indicators enlisted by Workimg Group would be very challenging. #SB62 .Many #IPCC authors and experts were contributed.

(4/4) .✅ Following tensions at #COP29, #SB62 represents an opportunity to restore momentum, rebuild trust, and set a cooperative tone for #COP30.

(3/4) ✅Parallel discussions will emphasize just transition strategies, mitigation efforts, national adaptation plans (NAPs), and mechanisms for addressing loss and damage due to climate impacts #sb62

(2/4) ✅The conference will tackle the Baku-to-Belém finance roadmap (with targets of US $300 bn and $1.3 tn), focus on transparency mechanisms like NDCs, and strengthen financial support for vulnerable countries .#SB62
