REMINDER: This evening, the NSF NCAR Mesa Lab road and parking lot, as well as nearby #Boulder Open Space trails, will be closed to the public for #4thofJuly from 4pm. The road will reopen tomorrow. Happy #July4th! 🎆.

PUNCH is officially in space! 🛰️ Riding with SPHEREx on the Falcon 9, PUNCH (Polarimeter to UNify the Corona and Heliosphere) is a suite of 4 suitcase-sized satellites that will continually map the flow of the solar wind as it leaves the corona and enters the heliosphere.

Congratulations to William Cheng for receiving the @ametsoc 's Editor’s Award for Journal of Applied Meteorology and Climatology! 🏆 Cheng is the lead modeler in the US Army Test and Evaluation Command project and a project scientist at NSF NCAR.

Great news! After successful water line repairs, the Mesa Lab will resume normal operations on Monday, Dec. 30. Though the facilities will remain closed through this weekend, the NSF NCAR road and Mesa Lab parking lot have reopened and are fully accessible.
