If you want this sport to flourish, you can demand a level playing field, and an ICC that at least pretends to be neutral. If you think this is an anti-India take, this is just your parochialism coming in the way. The problem is that you cannot imagine a world minus monopolies.

BCCI apologists have one retort "Eng/Aus ruled the sport in the past you never have a problem there" We weren't alive or too young when the Eng/Aus boards monopolized (and that was wrong then), and when India does it at the cost of the sport now, it is wrong now.

Nobody cares about bilateral ODI series, and the Australians in particular don't give a damn about bilaterals. The ODIs are only here to milk the RoKo nostalgia among desis in Aus. The entire summer is going to be about the Ashes. These ODIs are like a commercial assignment.
