Thank you @SenatorNichols for your leadership in advancing this critical update to Texas' driver education and safety courses. Keeping our roads safe takes all of us working together to help every Texan get home safely each day. #txlege

Tonight, I'm proud to be joined by Raya Rabold. She took welding in high school. After more training at Texas State Technical College, her welding work was featured in “Yellowstone” at only 18 years old. Raya is working to become a welding inspector to earn $85,000 a year.

Thank you @GovAbbott for highlighting this important message. Protecting our first responders, construction workers, and fellow Texans is everyone's responsibility. Let’s all do our part—move over, slow down, and save lives. #TexasStrong #MoveOverSlowDown 🚧🚔
Texas roads can be deadly. It's critical you remember to move over or slow down when you see flashing lights or construction signs. Don’t be the reason a first responder or construction worker can’t drive back home to their loved ones. Move over. Slow down. It’s the law.

Would you believe two Texas teens walked away from this wreckage? They did, but only because they were both wearing seatbelts. It’s a powerful visual that’s part of TxDOT’s Teen Click it or Ticket campaign, visiting high schools across the state. #EndTheStreakTX

We're working directly with local communities to bring their infrastructure projects to life. At the @usmayors Winter Meeting, Deputy Secretary Polly Trottenberg shared an overview of DOT programs that communities can apply for to access federal funding and technical support.
